1. Shut down all oracle services. You can close it in the service manager of windows

two。 Open the registry: regedit open path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SYSTEM\ CurrentControlSet\ Services\

Delete all service names under this path that start with oracle. This key identifies the services that Oracle registers under windows!

3. Open the registry and find the path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ ORACLE

Delete the oracle directory where the software installation information for the Oracle database is registered.

4. Delete the registered oracle event log and open the registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SYSTEM\ CurrentControlSet\ Services\ Eventlog\ Application

Delete all entries in the registry that begin with oracle.

5. Delete the oracle from the environment variable path.

Right-click my computer-- > Properties-- > Advanced-- > Environment variables-- > PATH variables.

Delete the contents of Oracle in this value. Note: a bunch of operating system directories are recorded in path. If you use a semicolon (;) to separate the directories in windows, be careful when deleting them.

Suggestion: when deleting the value of Oracle in the PATH environment variable, copy all the value into the text editor, find the corresponding Oracle value, delete it, then copy the modified string and paste it into the PATH environment variable, which is relatively safe.

6. Restart the operating system.

Restart the operating system after the above 5 steps have been completed.

7. All kinds of Oracle-related processes will not be loaded after rebooting the operating system. At this point, delete all data under Oracle_Home. (Oracle_Home refers to the directory where the Oracle program is installed)

8. Delete the oracle directory under C:\ Program Files.

(this directory depends on the path where Oracle is installed)

9. Delete the oracle item under the start menu, such as:

C:\ Documents and Settings\ All Users\ start menu\ Program\ Oracle-Ora10g

This directory is slightly different for different installations.

If you don't delete the Oracle-related menu directory under the start menu, it doesn't matter, it doesn't affect the installation of Oracle. When you install Oracle again, the menu will be replaced.

At this point, Oracle under the Windows platform is completely uninstalled.
