Sometimes when we send the script written on the windows host to the unix host, we find it is very ^ M, and it looks very messy. Here is how to remove it.

In vi:

Press Esc to switch to command mode input:

:% s / ^ M / / g can delete ^ M

^ M is entered through Ctrl+v+Shift+m, press and hold Ctrl key and press v key, do not put Ctrl key, then press shift key and m key, and release them all when finished.
