Mozilla began to develop the Fenix browser, a brand new browser that uses Geckoview and Android components, the browser engine developed by Mozilla, from scratch. While the actual use of this feature remains to be seen, it does seem like a well-thought-out design for those who don't want to clean up browser tags. It is also said to have built-in features such as blocking local advertising, automatically playing video, audio and cookie, tracking, pop-up windows, URL redirection, and so on. Other features include reading mode, customizing tabs, and displaying permissions for each site. However, because the browser is still in the development stage, these features and functions may change.

­Fenix is not yet publicly available to everyone and is expected to be released in the summer.
