Azure Logic Apps is a cloud service that helps you automate and coordinate tasks, business processes, and workflows when you need to integrate applications, data, systems, and services across your enterprise or organization. Logic Apps simplifies the way you design and build scalable solutions for application integration, data integration, system integration, enterprise application integration (EAI), and business-to-business (B2B) communications, whether in the cloud, internally, or both.

For example, here are some workloads that can be executed automatically using logical applications:

Process and route orders across local systems and cloud services.

Use Office 365 to send email notifications when events occur in various systems, applications, and services.

Move the uploaded file from the SFTP or FTP server to Azure storage.

Monitor tweets on specific topics, analyze emotions, and create alerts or tasks for projects that need to be reviewed.

To use Azure Logic Apps to build an enterprise integration solution, you can choose from a growing library of more than 200 connectors, including services such as Azure Service Bus,Functions and Storage, SQL,Office 365, and BizTalkjiSAP Oracle DB, file sharing, and more. Connectors provide triggers, actions, or both, for creating logical applications that access and process data securely in real time.

Why use Logic Apps?

As businesses move toward digitization, logical applications help you connect traditional, modern and cutting-edge systems more easily and quickly by providing pre-built API as a connector for Microsoft management. In this way, you can focus on the business logic and functionality of the application. You don't have to worry about building, hosting, extending, managing, maintaining, and monitoring applications. Logic Apps handles these issues for you. In addition, you only need to pay the usage fee according to the consumer pricing model.

In many cases, you don't have to write code. However, if you have to write some code, you can use Azure Functions to create a code snippet and run it according to the needs of your logical application. In addition, if your logical application needs to interact with events in Azure services, custom applications, or other solutions, you can use Azure Event Grid with logical applications for event monitoring, routing, and publishing.

Logical applications, functions, and event grids are managed entirely by Microsoft Azure, freeing you from worrying about building, hosting, extending, managing, monitoring, and maintaining solutions. With the ability to create "serverless" applications and solutions, you can focus on business logic. These services automatically scale to meet your needs, speed up integration, and help you build powerful cloud applications with minimal code. Having said that, let's take a look at how to use Logic App to monitor Azure events.

Click "logical Application designer"-"Common triggers"-"when an event grid resource event occurs":

Login succeeded, as shown in the following figure:

Select Azure subscription, resource type and resource name. In this example, I selected a subscription for event monitoring throughout the subscription, but you can select resource groups or other content to further adjust the alert scope. I also added an event type filter for WriteSuccess, but you can adjust it again according to your requirements:

In this example, I chose to notify by email, so click the new step, then select Office 365 Outlook, and then send an email:

Populate the email body with the event information you are interested in:

After the creation is completed, when we delete an Azure resource, we will receive the following email notification:
