1. Version selection:

2. Installation preparation

Download the system from the Internet: https://www.centos.org/download/ to download DVD ISO.

Need to burn the system to CD or U disk, recommend floppy disk through ultralso burning software.

3. Install:

Insert the CD or USB disk into the server and start the server to enter the installation interface:

Choose the first install centos7, and the second one needs to test the integrity of the CD, which takes a long time and is not necessary. Press enter to enter another interface:

To choose a language, you can choose both English and Chinese. It is recommended to choose English and click continue.

You can select the time zone, software version and installation disk, and choose Shanghai as the time zone. The software version depends on the requirements. To install Oracle, it is recommended to use the GNOME Desktop graphical interface version. Installation disks can be assigned automatically or defined by yourself. The self-defined interface is as follows:

Select as shown in the figure, click done, and the partition interface will appear:

It is best to select the logical volume (LVM), so that later expansion is more convenient, click the + sign to manually add partitions, the general boot directory put 200m to 500m Magneswap size set to twice or twice the memory, the rest are allocated to the root directory, can also be assigned to other directories as needed.

Click done:

Just select accept changes:

Other options do not need to be changed, just click begin installation:

The root password can be set here, and it doesn't matter whether the user creates it or not.

Click reboot to restart after the installation is complete:

Click done, and you don't see any errors:

Click finish configuration:

Configuration is required for the first time. Just click next:

Just choose Shanghai: click skip here

You still need to create a user here. There are individuals and enterprises to choose from. Generally, just select an individual. Enter full name, and the following username will be entered automatically:

Enter the password twice and click next:

Click start... You can start using Linux.
