1. It is relatively easy for Win7 to install VMware virtual machine. Download VMware and install it directly from the official website, which is not described here.

2. Then download the iso image file of CentOS 6.9 directly from the CentOS official website.

3. Open VMware, click create New Virtual Machine or click File-New Virtual Machine

4. Select typical by default, and click next.

5. Click the installer CD image file-Select the iso file path of the downloaded CentOS, then click to install the operating system later, and click next.

6. Select Linux for the guest operating system and the corresponding version for the version. Select CentOS 64-bit here, and click next.

7. The name of the virtual machine can be the default name. Select the path where the virtual machine is stored. It is best not to store it on the system disk. Click next.

8. Select the disk size and split file by default, or you can modify it according to your needs. Click next.

9. Click the custom hardware to set it, or you can set it later.

10. Set the processor to 4 cores, or without modification, select the ISO image file for the connection of the new CD/DVD (IDE), and select the iso image file path of the downloaded CentOS. Click close, and then click finish.

11. Right-click the virtual machine CentOS 64-bit, select the power supply-click to turn on the power to enter the firmware

12. Use the arrow keys to switch to Boot, and then use the "+" sign to move CD-ROM Driver to zuis

13. Use the arrow keys to switch to Exit, select Exit Discarding Changes, click enter, select Yes, and then click enter.

14. Go to the following page, select the first item, and enter directly

15. Select Skip and enter directly

16. Click Next to proceed to the next step

17. Select simplified Chinese and click Next

18. Choose American English style by default, and click next.

19. Select a basic storage device by default, and click next

20. Next, click "Yes, ignore all data (Y)"

21. The host name is available by default and does not need to be modified. Click next.

22. The default time is Asia / Shanghai. Click next directly.

23. Enter a 6-digit password and click next

24. Select to create a custom layout, and click next

25. Click create, and divide the system into "/ boot", "/ home", "swap" and "/" partitions respectively.

26. When the partition is complete, click next.

Click to format the partition, and click "write changes to disk"

28. Select Basic Server here, or you can choose other types according to your needs, and click next.

29. After waiting for the installation to complete, click reboot

30. If the installation is successful, start to enter the following Linux boot interface. Enter the localhost login:root; password as previously set: 123456; this is it.
