Today, Xiaofan encountered the Hosts file in C:\ WINDOWS\ system32\ drivers\ etc and could not modify it. The device LAN must change this file to add an IP address. Use notepad to open this file and add it without adding an IP address. As follows:

Method 1: use administrator privileges to open notepad to edit host files

If the user account control appears in the figure below, we need to click "Yes".

Open the host file in the C:\ WINDOWS\ system32\ drivers\ etc directory in the open notepad program, and edit and save it.

Method 2: move the host file to the desktop, edit it with notepad and move it back to the original directory

First, drag the host file directly to the desktop as shown in the following figure
