2. Installation problem

III. Solutions

Install the U2000 client software:

You can install U2000 client software in one of two ways: a: install U2000 client software locally b: install U2000 client software in network mode (CAU)

The U2000 client supports installation on Windows operating systems, but not on Solaris and SUSE Linux operating systems.

In a prepared Windows10 system, log in to the Windows operating system as a user with administrator privileges

In the Windows 10 environment, launch the Web browser. In the Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2012 environments, open Internet Explorer and launch the Web browser. If the operating system includes both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Internet Explorer, note that the 32-bit version is required. U2000 does not support 64-bit versions.

Enter the https:// server-side IP address / cau/ (more secure, recommended) or http:// server-side IP address / cau/, in the address bar and press enter to enter the Web installation page.

Configure the system, browser, and JRE environments required by the CAU installation client.

d. Pop up the "Setup Complete" window and click "Finish".

e. Restart the operating system manually.

Log in to Windows as a user with administrator privileges.

In the hard disk installation CD directory or the unzipped installation package directory, right-click on the "install.bat" file, select "run as administrator account" or "run as administrator", and the "introduction" dialog box appears.

Select I accept this agreement and click next. The set Network Management language dialog box appears.

Select the language in which the network management system runs, and click next. The Select installation path dialog box appears.

Enter the installation directory and click next.

The client installation directory must be in the "C:\ Program Files" subdirectory.

The default installation directory for the client is "C:\ Program Files\ oss".

The default installation directory for the database is "C:\ ProgramData\ oss". Databases cannot be installed in "C:\ Windows", "C:\ Program Files" and "C:\ Program Files (x86)".

9. Confirm the installation information and click next to begin the installation.

10. Click finish. U2000 client software has been installed.

11. After the installation is complete, you must log in to the Windows system as a user with administrator privileges in order to run the U2000 client properly.
