Shulou(Shulou.com)06/03 Report--
Due to the need of my work, I installed the vpn software Pulse secure on my computer (I used the xubuntu system).
Finally, the installation was successful and connected, but the problem occurred. The next day, after the computer was rebooted, all the networks did not work properly (Pulse Secure was not enabled). The network connection is normal, but all the addresses are not ping. The page cannot be opened either.
After a lot of trouble, we finally found out where the problem lies.
Open the / etc/resolv.conf file:
Sudo vim / etc/resolv.conf
It is found that the contents are as follows:
Delete its contents completely, and then add a line:
Nameserver 127.0.1.1
Then execute the command to restart the network service:
Sudo service network-manager restart
The exact reason is not clear. I just know that the file / etc/resolv.conf is related to DNS. Due to the original three-line configuration, all DNS queries failed and all requests for access through DNS were invalidated.
These are the details of what to do if you can't surf the Internet after connecting to pulse secure. Please pay more attention to other related articles!
