Before reading this tutorial, I think you are also searching for how to use gitHub to host your own projects. I also encountered all kinds of problems before using gitHub. I also searched a lot on the Internet, but I always felt that there were a lot of things found on the Internet, and some of them didn't know what they were expressing. In this process, I also encountered a lot of holes, after their own exploration and finally successfully installed and can release my things. So I want to do some of my own experience in the process of using it. I hope it will be helpful to all of you.

The first step, of course, is to find the official website of gitHub. You can directly enter the URL https://github.com/ or search gitHub on Baidu (ps: I like to use Baidu search engine, what is not pleasing to the eye) and find the screenshot below and click Sign up to register an account.

Step 2: once you have the account number and password, you can log in directly. After logging in, click Start project to create your own project warehouse.

Step 3: fill in your warehouse name and check some options and click the green button to create it.

Step 4: after the creation, you will have your own warehouse. For example, my warehouse is named test.

Step 5: after creating the warehouse, upload your own local project to the warehouse. To upload the local project, you need to install gitHub client github for windows on your computer. First of all, I found a github for windows offline installation package on the Internet to download, and found that there are many suitable downloads.

Step 6: after downloading it, decompress it and install it just like other software. you can install it next. But it's important to note that if you don't have .net framework 4.5 or later on your computer, you need to download the .net framework installation yourself. After installing this, you can install github for windows normally if there is no problem.

Step 7: after the software is installed, you can log in by entering the account and password that you have just registered with github. To log in and find the "+" Add in the upper left corner is to add a local storage path, Create is to create a new repository, and Clone is to clone the warehouse created on the browser to the local location. Click clone, and you can see the warehouse test that has just been set up on git. Select it, click Clong text below, and then you will be asked to choose your local storage address.

Step 8: then you can put the file of the project you want to upload to github in this folder. For example, I put an aaa.html file here.

Step 9: go back to the github client and the following screen will appear. If yours is different from mine, click Show next to Uncommitted changes. (if nothing appears, it is recommended to shut down and restart the github client.) then enter some information casually in the text box and click Commit to master

Step 10: the file you uploaded is not yet visible on the github on the web. Finally, just click Sync below, and then wait for a while (according to your Internet speed).

Step 11: click view on GitHub under the pinion in the upper right corner and you can see the file you uploaded in the browser. This is where the whole process is completed.
