According to the technical documents of Microsoft, Hyper-V itself is a virtual environment running directly based on hardware. After Windows enables Hyper-V, the physical machine OS is at the same level as the virtual machine OS. When the physical machine OS runs the task manager, the CPU usage in the virtual hypervisor is not available. So one of the ways is to use performance Monitor to see the overall CPU usage of Hyper-V:

1. Open the performance Monitor to add counters.

2. Find the counter Hyper-V hypervisor logical processor, and drop down to find total run time to add.

3. After confirmation, you can see the overall CPU occupancy rate of Hyper-V.
