I. Migration requirements

Currently, the server configuration and features for AD are as follows:

1. Account requirements:

Local computer account: administrator domain account password: 123.qwe

Domain account name: chenjiangfeng domain account password: vancen.123

two。 Host IP address requirements:

The client IP address is DHCP and there is no need to specify the DNS address manually.

The client IP address is manually specified and requires manual configuration of the DNS address point.

3. Requirements of the operating system

Win7 Ultimate Edition, win7 Enterprise Edition, win8.1,win10 Professional Edition, win10 Education Edition, win10 Enterprise Edition, windows server 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016 can join the domain environment

Win7 family Chinese version, win10 home version cannot join the domain environment

II. AD client deployment method

1. Add the domain operation at the control panel, and the original desktop file will no longer be on the desktop after the client joins the domain.

two。 Use the third-party software (User Profile Wizard) to directly configure the configuration information of the computer, so that the client's machine is automatically joined to the AD domain at startup, and the configuration file remains unchanged when the user logs in to the domain.

3. The AD client performs domain-adding operation at the control panel.

Step 1: check that the DNS address points to the AD domain controller address

Step 2: open the control panel and click "change Settings"

Step 3: pop up "system Properties" and click change options

Step 4: select the domain name that belongs to the "domain" option belongs to the AD domain controller settings, and click OK.

Step 4: pop up the authentication window and enter the domain account password to authenticate.

Step 5: "Welcome to the vancen.com domain" pops up after the authentication is passed.

Step 6: add domain to complete, restart the computer

4. AD client deployment steps using third-party software (User Profile Wizard) (take Windows7 as an example)

Step 1: check whether the client's DNS address points to the correct one

Step 2: start the User Profile Wizard program as an administrator, the welcome screen appears, and click the next button

Step 2: select the profile to migrate and click the "next" button

Disable Account: disable local accounts after migration

Delete Account: delete local accounts after migration

Show Unassigned Profiles: displays the configuration file with no assigned account

Note: the account selected at this time is the local account desktop configuration information and the configuration file used by the user after logging in to the domain.

Step 3: select the name of the domain to add and the name of the domain account to be migrated to, and click the "next" button

Enter the domain,or select the local computer name: enter the name of the joined domain

Enter the account name: enter the migration to domain account name

Step 4: enter the domain user name and password to join the domain permissions, and click the "next" button

Step 5: display the progress of profile migration

Step 6: the installation completion interface appears, and click the finish button

Step 7: click the "Restart Now" button when an interface appears that requires an immediate restart.

V. check of AD client deployment (take Windows7 as an example)

Step 1: "start" → "computer", right-click to select properties, and the following view appears.
