The environment Windows Server 2019 is used this time, and the management side of Exchange 2019 is required.

Before deploying Exchange, you need to add the necessary roles and functions to the server where you are going to deploy the Exchange 2019 management side, join the AD, and log in as a domain administrator account.

Open the server manager, click add functions and roles on the server manager page, and open the add roles and functions wizard, which is the next step by default on this page.

Select role-based or feature-based installation on the installation type page

On the server selection page, select the server to install

On the server roles page, select Web server (IIS)

On the Select feature page, click the feature you want to add

On the Web server role (IIS) page, keep the default next step

On the role Services page, select manage check Management tools (IIS Management console, IIS Management compatibility, IIS Metabase compatibility, IIS WMI compatibility, IIS Management console), and click next.

Click install on the confirmation page.

When you have finished adding roles, just close the page.

Install the necessary software packages

Once you are ready, you can deploy the Exchange management side. Mount ExchangeISO to the installed server, click the setup.exe of the media to enter the installation wizard. On the page whether to check for updates, click do not check for updates now, and then go to the next step.

After clicking the next button, the "copying files" dialog box is displayed as shown in the figure, and the necessary files are copied to the management computer.

After initializing the installer, open the Exchange introduction window

Click the "next" button, read the license agreement, and tick me to accept the terms of the license agreement.

Click next to go to the recommendation settings page, where we choose not to use the recommendation settings

After clicking the "next" button, we go to the server role selection page, where we can select "Administrative tools".

After clicking next, go to the "installation space and location" page, where we customize the selection path.

The system will enter the preparatory check stage. After the check is correct, click "install".

Go to the installation progress page

After a long wait, the administrative tool is installed and click finish.

Restart the computer, in the windows start button, the following folders will be added

The installation of Exchange management tools is complete.
