ADAudit Plus does not show hidden shares, which end with "$" by default. However, sometimes you may want to see the activities associated with these hidden shares and their content in ADAudit Plus.

So, what should be done?

You only need to make some changes to the ADAudit Plus configuration to show hidden shares. First, log in to ADAudit Plus. This needs to be done locally, or you can do it on another computer, but you need to replace localhost with the IP address, or the hostname of the server running ADAudit Plus.

In the interface that opens on the new browser tab, as shown in figure 1, enter the following query:

Update systemparams set param_value = 'true' where param_name='TakeHiddenShares'

Then, click the execute query button to complete the input.

Now you will see the hidden share, as shown in figure 2.
