Problem description

In the process of installing and deploying the SCCM server, by default, we need to download and install the required components on the Internet, and the installation cannot continue if there is no external network. With the help of ConfigMgr Prerequisites Tool, we can easily download the required components on the extranet computer in advance, and we can also download the ADK components we need to install simultaneously.

Operation steps

1. Download the components required during the deployment of the SCCM server

You can operate on any server system that meets the operating conditions of ConfigMgr Prerequisites Tool and can access the public network. Run tools-> then click Sites-Prerequisite Files-> at BROWSE FOR DOWNLAND APPLICATION, click browse to navigate to the download program under SCCM installer package SMSSETUP\ BIN\ X64, setupdl.exe-> at DOWNLOAD PREREQUISITE FILES FOR CONFIGURATION MANAGE SETUP, click browse to browse to the storage location of the downloaded components-> Click start to start the download:

After downloading, we can copy these components to disk D on SCCM01:

two。 Download the ADK component

Windows ADK, short for Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit, is the system image customization and deployment toolkit. Since ADK1809, WinPE has been separated from the separate ADK toolkit, so we need to download ADK and WinPE add-on when we download ADK1809 and later versions. We click ADK-Online-> Click load online to get all the ADK lists. Here we select ADK version 1903 and ADK version 1903 (WinPE add-on)-> Click browse to select the path to download storage-> Click install to start the download:

After downloading, we can see two programs in the storage location:

Previously, we just downloaded the ADK installation bootstrap by clicking install, which can be installed online or downloaded and then installed. Here we double-click to run the two programs and then follow the wizard. Take downloading ADK version 1903 as an example, run the installation bootstrap adksetup-> Download-> Continute:

Click Browse to select the storage path and Download until it is complete:

The same procedure runs adksetup_winpe to download the ADK version 1903 (WinPE add-on) program. After the download is completed, our ADK is ready, and we can copy these components to disk D on SCCM01:
