Bit (bit bit): the smallest unit of data in a computer, each bit can only be 0 or 1.

KB:1KB stands for 1024 bytes

MB: what we call megabytes in our daily life is usually roughly recorded as 1MB = 10 ^ 6 (10 to the 6th) bytes; it is actually 1024 ^ 2
