1. View the windows host information, focusing on the system memory size.

2. Decompress the oracle installation software

3. Open the compressed package and extract the file directory, and click setup to install.

4. Start installing the database software

4-1. Select the installation option-choose to install only the database software

4-2. Select database installation type: single instance database installation

4-3. Choose the product language: simplified Chinese + English

4-4. Select the database installation version: enterprise version

4-5. Installation location: click Browse to select the file directory to install the database software.

4-6. Installation summary: browse the installation information here, focusing on oracle inventory and software installation directory

4-7. Completion: database software installation completed

5. Open the cmd of windwos, and type sqlplus-v to view the database software version.

6. Start installing the database, type netca in the cmd window, and start installing the listener.

6-1. Select the desired configuration: listener configuration, and click next.

6-2. Choose what to do: add

6-3. Listener name: enter a custom listener name

6-4. Select the listening port: if you customize, please use another port number and enter a custom port number.

6-5. Whether to configure another listener: no

6-6. Click finish: complete the monitoring configuration

6-7. Enter lsnrctl status in cmd to check whether the current listener is installed and its status

7. Install the database instance. Type dbca in cmd to start the installation of the database instance.

7-1. Open the dbca interface and click next.

7-2. What you want to do: choose to create a database

7-3. Select a database template: general purpose or transaction processing

7-4. Database identity: database global name (i.e. ORACLE_SID)

7-5. Management options: whether to configure EM (EM takes up more system resources, it is not recommended to configure EM)

7-6. Database × × × Ming: set the password of sys/system, which can be set individually or managed uniformly.

If the password is too simple, there will be a password that does not meet the oracle recommended complexity policy hint

7-7. Database storage type: it can be ASM, file system or bare device. Select the file system here.

Select the file system directory where you want to store the data files by clicking the browse button

7-8. Restore configuration: whether to enable flashback and archiving (check if enabled)

Here, it is used as a test diagram, flashback is not enabled and archiving is not enabled.

7-9. Database content: whether to install oe, sh and other sample databases. Check the example scheme if you install it.

7-10. Database initialization parameters

Adjust PGA&SGA, allocate about 65% of operating system memory to Oracle database, and use memory to manage automatically.

Open the resize tab: adjust the number of processes to 300

Open the character set label: select the third option and set the database character set to ZHS16GBK. The first item is appropriate by default.

Connection mode: companies generally use shared connections, which do not involve connection mode adjustment (private connections can be selected if necessary)

7-11. Database storage: need to adjust the redo log group (500mm 5 groups)

Add redo log group, add new redo pay attention to file name sequence number, file directory, copy and paste directly

7-12. Complete the configuration, and click finish to start creating the database instance.

Summary of installation before database instance creation

The database instance creation process takes about 15 minutes.

After the database instance is created, the exit command is managed. If necessary, you can click the password management to set the account password.

Exit the password management window and complete the database software, monitoring and database instance installation.
