First of all: when we build a wireless LAN, we should plan in advance, the number of machines and the use environment of the wireless LAN, so that when choosing equipment, it will not be possible for a horse to pull a cart.

Second: when choosing wireless routers and AP, we need to ask the actual number of machines carried by the equipment. Some manufacturers falsely mark the number of machines carried by the device; some companies only mark the number of machines with a connection; such number of AP machines is meaningless. What we need is the number of machines that can be used in the real environment, that is, the so-called actual number of machines. This can be seen from the cases done by the manufacturers and the feedback from the market. Gateways and AP should be chosen carefully, and multiple AP also need to use AC manager. For the choice of AP power supply, there is a difference between using a power switch or using DC or module power supply. A clean wireless local area network uses a power switch. After the gateway and POE switch and AP understand clearly, plan the location of AP, so that there are no large dead corners and overlapping areas, and ensure full coverage of the network.

The last part is the installation and debugging of AP, which is the most important part, because the wireless environment is also an important part of WLAN. When building a wireless local area network, try to use AC manager to debug, so as to better control the AP to adapt to the environment.

When re-setting AP, we should pay attention to co-channel interference and co-channel interference, co-channel interference is now 2.4G at the same frequency, 5G is also on the rise; co-channel interference to avoid using more users of the channel, the commonly used 2.4G channels are 1,6,11.

In the case of large area and multi-device AP, it is also necessary to adjust the transmission power and disconnection threshold of the AP; this can not only reduce the interference between AP, but also ensure that users can switch to the AP with good signal when the signal is not good, so that there is a high-quality wireless network anytime, anywhere.

The AP has a certain number of machines. Do not let the AP in the wireless LAN fall off or the AP is not connected because the waiting number is too large, to ensure that each AP in the wireless LAN has a balanced number of connections. Some manufacturers support this. If not, you can adjust the transmission power of the AP.

To build a stable WLAN, as long as planning, AP adjustment, appropriate speed limit and strategy, we can ensure the stable operation of WLAN and get twice the result with half the effort.
