Install ProFTPD

Since ProFTPD does not exist in the official library of yum in CentOS, installing ProFTPD with yum requires defining an unofficial library. Please confirm the existence of the corresponding non-official library files first.

[root@sample ~] # ls-l / etc/yum.repos.d/dag.repo ← confirms the existence of corresponding library files

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 143 Oct 1 21:33 / etc/yum.repos.d/dag.repo ← confirms its existence (otherwise ProFTPD cannot be installed through yum)

If the above dag.repo file does not exist, ProFTPD cannot be installed through yum, and unofficial libraries need to be defined. For ways to define unofficial libraries, see the yum settings in the section "download, install, and initial environment settings for CentOS". Moreover, under this premise, it is also necessary to ensure that the syntax of the defined dag.repo file is correct.

Then, install ProFTPD online through yum.

[root@sample ~] # yum-y install proftpd ← install ProFTPD
