Problem description:

The ActiveSync protocol is used to connect to the Exchange on the phone. This problem occurs because the default Max Request Length setting for ActiveSync on the Exchange server is 10MB. The mobile phone connects to Exchange using the ActiveSync protocol, which is somewhat different from sending email by Outlook on Windows computers.

Solution:

In Exchange 2010 environments, this problem occurs more often when large attachments cannot be sent on iOS devices.
