In order to better understand the knowledge of OGG, the official documents are systematically summarized and studied. In the later stage, a series of OGG articles will be launched to record the knowledge learned by OGG.

1. GoldenGate version is compatible

Before installing and configuring OGG software, you need to adhere to OGG compatibility with the operating system and databases. OGG software belongs to Fusion Middleware product line.

Therefore, the compatibility of the product is in Oracle Fusion Middleware Supported System Configurations.

1.1. Oracle GoldenGate (18.1.0.0.0)

Take ORACLE database as an example, OGG 18C only supports 11.2.0.4 and above databases. Some support information is shown in the following table:
