Today, when changing a user's password in the oracle database, I found the following rule

SQL > alter user ics identified by password

User changed.

2 password is only composed of numbers. It is created successfully.

SQL > alter user ics identified by 123456

User changed.

3 the password is composed of letters and numbers, which is successfully created.

SQL > alter user ics identified by password123

User changed.

4 password is composed of numbers and letters, failed to create

SQL > alter user ics identified by 1q2w3e

ERROR at line 1:

ORA-00922: missing or invalid option

5 when a password consists of a number and a password, double quotation marks must be added to succeed.

SQL > alter user ics identified by "1q2w3e"

User changed.

SQL > conn ics/1q2w3e

Connected.

It's the same when creating users.
