What is IP?

What is the relationship between IP and the server? What's the use?

First, there is a "firewall" function in the network link of a local area network. Second, save IP resources and costs. There is a cost to use IP address resources, because all users under the proxy server use one IP address, which saves IP resources and greatly reduces costs.
