After the installation of SQL Server2005 Enterprise Edition or Development Edition is complete, you may find that there is a lack of enterprise manager for database management because of conflicts caused by other MicroSoft development tools installed on your computer.

Search the Internet to download SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Manager, the installation file is generally in msi format, and during the installation process will not be able to successfully install, double-click without any response. In view of this, it is necessary to install the software in cmd command mode.

Copy the installation files of the enterprise manager to a directory at a low level (of course, Daniel can find it at will), such as the root directory of each disk. Here, take the root directory of disk D as an example.

Create a new script file: create a new test.txt file, save it as a cmd format file, or modify the file name to test.cmd directly by F2 if the suffix is displayed by the computer

Right-click to open test.cmd with a text editor and modify the content of the script file as follows:

Msiexec / I D:\ * .msi

* represents the file name of the installation file you downloaded. The file name must be the same.

When test.cmd is executed under Win7, right-click to "open as administrator", and WinXP will double-click directly.
