The mount point is the location of the disk on the disk controller bus on the ECS of the CVM. The selected mount point corresponds to the disk device number in the Linux operating system; the order of the disk in the Windows operating system is the same as that in the disk manager.

7. Can a postpaid cloud disk be mounted to multiple ECS instances?

I can't. A postpaid cloud disk can only be mounted to one ECS instance in the same availability zone, and cannot be mounted across the availability zone.

8. Can an ECS instance mount how many postpaid cloud disks at the same time?

A maximum of 16 yuan, including cloud disks and postpaid cloud disks.

9. Can postpaid cloud disks be mounted to prepaid and postpaid ECS instances?

14. Was my snapshot lost when I reinitialized the disk?

No (including manual and automatic snapshots).

15. Do I lose my snapshot when I replace the system disk?

Automatic snapshots are lost, manual snapshots are not.

Note: the disk ID will change when the system disk is replaced, and the original system disk user snapshot cannot be used to roll back the new system disk. "however, you can create a custom mirror using a manual snapshot of the user retained by the original system disk."

16. Will my disk lose data when I uninstall the pay-per-view cloud disk?

In order to ensure data integrity, it is recommended that you suspend reading and writing operations to all file systems of the cloud disk under the Windows operating system, otherwise unfinished reading and writing data will be lost. Under the Linux operating system, you need to log in to the ECS instance to perform unmount command line operations on the disk, and then enter the console to unmount the disk after the command is executed successfully.

17. Can I uninstall the system disk?
