UDIMM

RDIMM
RDIMM: full name Registered DIMM, dual inline memory module with registers. Because of the high efficiency of registers, it is easier to improve the capacity and frequency of UDIMM,RDIMM.
LRDIMM
LRDIMM: full name Load Reduced DIMM, low-load dual inline memory module. Compared with RDIMM,LRDIMM, it does not use complex registers, but simply buffers. Buffering reduces the power load on the lower motherboard, but has almost no impact on memory performance.
In addition, LRDIMM memory changes the Register chip on RDIMM memory to iMB (isolation Memory Buffer) memory isolation buffer chip, which has the direct benefit of reducing the memory bus load and further increasing the memory support capacity.
Difference and application
