Grape City full-featured .NET control set ComponentOne will continue this trend in 2018: whether it is the .NET platform, ASP.NET Core,Xamarin or the future planned XAML standard, interoperability is the key to all applications, which will be at the core of our future product planning, and we will continue to innovate and enhance existing products.

As the mainstream platform of desktop business applications, WinForm interface control WinForm is still very powerful. ComponentOne is still planning to add new controls to the WinForm platform and add deep functionality to all controls. At the same time, ComponentOne will continue to make UI improvements to all controls to keep control styles modern and fresh at all times.

These controls will continue to appear in the 2018 version of the ComponentOne .NET control set:

Dashboard layout Control (Dashboard Layout)

Dashboard layout controls allow users to dynamically place a variety of .NET controls on ComponentOne containers and quickly build interactive dynamic dashboards. These containers can host a variety of .NET control types, such as grid controls, chart controls, report controls, and map controls. In addition, users can drag and drop controls and resize controls at will within the parent container.

Multiple selection input Control (MultiSelect)

This control adds a check box next to each option in the drop-down list so that the user can select more than one item at a time, which is displayed as a label type in the text area.

Automatic completion control (MultiAutoComplete)

This control supports the selection of multiple project types from a list of filtered items, which are displayed as labels in the text area.

Data slicer and intelligent filter (DataFilter and Slicer)

The C1DataFilter control combines a slicer and an intelligent filter UI to allow users to filter data based on custom standards. In addition, you can bind to any data source to get a control or data type, and apply multiple conditions to filter.

Smart Tab Control (TabPanel)

It is a simple, efficient, intelligent lightweight navigation control that allows users to move between refreshed content views, which can be embedded in the ComponentOne control panel.

Target Map Control (BulletGraph)

BulletGraphs controls complement dashboards and dashboard styles and usually don't display too much information, so you don't have to take up too much space, which has the advantage of allowing users to focus on core progress without confusing useless and distracting decorations.

Mini picture

Mini graphs are made up of miniature lines, bars, or pie charts that can be displayed in tables, grid cells, or text fields to show numerical information or trends.

FlexGrid table extension

Grouping panel: allows end users to group while the project is running.

Cell types: you can use mini graphs to graphically display digital information and trends in cells.

Map: the ability to measure distances or get coordinates at a specific point will be added later, as well as some UI and theme updates.

FlexChart Chart Enhancement

ComponentOne will continue to improve the ease of use and user customization of existing control features. In addition, more chart types (such as Pareto diagrams, asynchronous histograms, thermal maps, etc.) and performance benchmark examples specific to a particular area of expertise will be added.

Financial Chart (FinancialCharts)

Point and Figure charts will provide open-to-use trend analysis and automatic scaling options. In addition, ComponentOne has added more technical indicators and overlay layers, including Ichimoku,Elliott wave and TrueRange, to help users see all price trends at a glance, including direction, momentum, dynamic support, resistance levels, and even trading signals.

WPF and UWP interface controls WPF and UWP are still popular platforms for desktop business applications. With the popularity of Xamarin and .NET Standard, ComponentOne will also make some changes to ensure that code switches seamlessly between platforms. .net standard non-UI library

ComponentOne will strive to update its non-UI libraries of the .NET standard so that they become more common between platforms. It is planned to review and enhance ComponentOne's BarCodes,PDFDocumentSource and Excel libraries next year.

New project template

ComponentOne is constantly adding new project templates because it allows users to get started quickly and improve development efficiency. In addition, ComponentOne's project templates will continue to be reviewed and enhanced in the future, and ComponentOne already provides theme-specific templates for developers to use.

FlexChart Chart Enhancement

Server-side ODataCollectionView

Server-side ODataCollectionView enables controls to be bound to ODATA services, and server-side sorting and filtering can also be applied to controls bound to ODATA services.

Scaffolding for Razor Pages and project templates

ComponentOne has been adding templates to support the rapid creation of MVC projects and pre-configured C1 MVC controls. Currently, ComponentOne has added Project and Item templates to RazorPages in ASP.NET Core MVC.

FlexSheet

Grid and worksheet support in Excel will be added to FlexSheet, and you will be able to add, delete, and format worksheets through client-side and server-side API.

ActiveReports support in ReportViewer

FlexViewer will use ActiveReports Web API services to display report data in the same style as in .NET report controls.

OLAP

ComponentOne supports binding to SSAS cubes using OLAP without the need for Web API.
