The release of POCO F4 may be just around the corner. The company is expected to launch a game-focused POCO F4 GT in the first half of 2022. As a result, the POCO F4 is likely to be officially launched on the global market in the next few months. As the nickname suggests, POCO F4 will be the successor to last year's POCO F3 carrying Snapdragon 870s.

Before the release, reliable salesman Yogesh Brar had leaked key specifications of the POCO F4. The leaked specifications suggest it could enter the global market as a renamed version of Xiaomi 12X, which made its debut in China in December 2021.

The POCO F4 will have a 6.3in AMOLED display that provides full HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rates. The device will be equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera and a three-camera unit with a 50-megapixel camera title. It will be equipped with a 13 megapixel ultra wide angle lens and a 5 megapixel telephoto macro camera.

The Snapdragon 870 mobile platform will power the POCO F4. It will be equipped with RAM for 6GB / 8GB / 12GB and UFS 3.1 storage for 128GB / 256GB. The device will run on the Android 12 operating system, which will cover MIUI 13. The F4 will be equipped with a 4500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.

Last year, China's exclusive red rice K40 changed its name to POCO F3 in the global market. The same K40 was re-marked as Xiaomi Mi 11X. It seems that this year's Xiaomi 12X from China will be launched on the international market as a POCO F4. There is no word on whether it will be launched or not. If so, it may carry the Xiaomi brand.
