This task is to achieve Microsoft Teams WebApp client private chat, the use of auxiliary references, such as weather applications are more rich in communication resources.

It should be noted that because Microsoft is still improving Teams. Therefore, there may be some ways to manipulate the configuration, as well as the name of the object, which may be adjusted and modified by Microsoft over time. Therefore, the specific operation should be based on the situation released online by Microsoft at that time, and this series of articles is for reference only.

1. Log in to Office 365 using the identity of "Tang Sanzang", a tenant user of Office 365.

Open an Edge browser and enter http://www.office.com in the address bar. Click the Login button.

In the login interface, enter the identity login information of the user "Sun WuKong":

Sunwukong@yourtenantname.onmicrosoft.com

Click "next".

Note: if the browser records the previous user login information, click "Log in with another account", then enter the login account information of "Sun WuKong", and then click "Login".

Follow the prompt "enter password" Pa$$w0rd and click the "login" button.

As this is the first time for this account to log in to Office 365, it is recommended to follow the wizard of Office 365 to complete various initial operations, such as setting the calendar time zone and so on.

Second, enter the Microsoft Teams Web client

Click the "Teams" icon in "Application" on the page

Or click the "Nine Palace Grid" application navigation icon in the upper left corner of the page, and click the "Teams" button in the "Application" of the navigation bar.

Enter the Microsoft Teams Web client. As this is the first time to use this account, please follow the wizard to complete the relevant settings.

Third, initiate a private chat

On the left navigation bar, navigate to chat. Click the "start a new private conversation here" tablet button at the top of the page.

Then manually fill in "to:" tangsanzang in the right window, and select "Tang Sanzang" according to the prompts.

In the "Type New message" entry box, type "Hello, Master", enter or click the "send" button on the right side of the bottom.

Current "Tang Sanzang" users are online, so they will receive messages immediately. However, if "Tang Sanzang" users are offline, the message will be saved on the server of Office 365.When Tang Sanzang logs online, they will receive the private chat message.

In addition, it is important to note that if the receiver of the message has never used Teams, but has been using Skype for Business, then the sender will be prompted to use Skype for Business.

Since the functionality of Skype for Business is not as rich as that of Teams, some of the features of Teams will not be experienced using Skype for Business.

Since Skype for Business is still used by Microsoft as the default instant messaging service tool for Office 365, not every user of Office 365 will activate Teams. However, to activate your Teams to become a Teams user, you only need to log in to the Teams application once in the Office 365 app.

4. Send weather information to each other in private

Click "…" at the bottom of the "type new message" entry box. " Icon, select "Weather" in the recommended application.

In the pop-up Weather installation window, click install.

Click "Open" in the "Weather is currently available for you" dialog box.

Click the "sun" icon below the message entry box, enter "beijing" in the "Weather" dialog box, and select "Beijing" in the prompt.

Then enter or click the "send" button on the right side of the bottom to send the weather of Beijing that day to Tang Sanzang.

"Tang Sanzang" will receive the corresponding news and can communicate with "Sun WuKong".
