The biggest difference between Oracle Linux and Red Hat is OCFS. (Oracle Cluster File System) file system and Xen-based OracleVM virtualization technology. Step 1: go to the Oracle website

To download Oracle Linux, first of all, we need to register an account on its official website. Go to this link: http: / / profile.oracle.com. Then click the create account button.

Step 2: create an Oracle account

Step 3: Oracle Software Delivery Cloud

To download Oracle Linux now, visit the Oracle Cloud Software Delivery page, which contains the following link: https: / / edelivery.oracle.com http://www.9qmys.com.

When the page opens, click the Login button.

To log in, use the same email ID and password you used when you created the Oracle account above.

Step 4: download Oracle Linux

After logging in, you will see a search box, enter the text-Oracle Linux and click the search button.

All versions of Oracle Linux ISO can be downloaded, such as Oracle Linux 7.6 iso,Oracle Linux 7.5 iso,Oracle Linux 7.4 iso,Oracle Linux 7 3 iso,Oracle Linux 6.9 Oracle Linux 62 and others.

To download the version of Oracle Linux, simply click the "add to cart" button given earlier.

The above action will add the Oracle enterprise Linux to the shopping cart. Now click the Selected Software option to download Oracle OS.

In this step, first, we select the platform / language available for that particular version of Oracle Linux. Click this option and select x86 64-bit, and then click the continue button.

Now accept the license agreement for the Oracle Linux distribution. If you follow it, click the accept check box and continue.

Finally, you will get download options for Oracle Linux 7.6.0 for x86 64-bit, but contain many other files. If you only want to download the graphical version of Oracle Enterprise Linux, simply deselect all ISO files and select a unique Oracle Linux Release 7 update 6 for x86 (64-bit), 4.3 GB ISO files. Similarly, when new updates are available in the future, you can follow the same steps to download them.

After selecting the Oracle 7.6 ISO file, click the file itself or click the download button. For example, here, you can see that the file name is V980739-01.iso in the screenshot, so I can download it by clicking it directly or using the download button given on the right. You can also download it on Linux platforms such as Ubuntu using the WGET option.

Step 5: install Oracle Enterprise Linux on VirtualBox

Open VirtualBox.

Click the New button on the menu to create an Oracle VM computer

Name your machine and select Type Linux and Version:Oracle 64 bit

Click the next button, and then select the amount of RAM you want to assign. Minimum 2GB is recommended.

Create a virtual hard disk of at least 20 GB.

Now select the created Oracle virtual machine that will appear in the translation to the left of the VirtualBox, and then click the Settings option given in the menu.

Select the storage option.

Click the clear CD icon, and then click the CD icon under Properties.

Select the downloaded Oracle Linux ISO file.

After completing the above steps, you will get the ISO file under Controller IDE. Now, press the OK button.

Finally, start the Oracle virtual machine.

When booting Oracle Linux 7.6, use the arrow keys to select the Install Oracle 7.6 option, and then press the Enter button

Just follow the instructions of this Linux to install the program, and it will be installed successfully.
