1. BlazeMeter installation and registration

BlazeMeter is a chrome plug-in compatible with Apache JMeter, which can easily record traffic and generate scripts with BlazeMeter. As a basis for writing interface test scripts, first record the required interface information, and then optimize based on the recorded scripts to improve the efficiency of interface automation. Record all browsing activity to create a JMeter script and automatically upload it to BlazeMeter.

1.1 install BlazeMeter

Google browser version: 89.0.4389.90 (official version) (64-bit)

BlazeMeter version: 4.9.5

Click the icon in the upper right corner of Google browser, select "more tools"-> "Extenders", drag the blazeMeter-4.9.5-Crx4Chrome.com.crx file directly into the blank space in figure 1-1, and the blazeMeter plug-in is installed automatically. The red box in figure 1-1 indicates that the plug-in is installed successfully.

A BlazeMeter icon appears in the upper-right corner of the browser, as shown in figure 1-2. Click the extension icon to open and attach the BlazeMeter program to the browser.

1.2 plug-in introduction 1.2.1 login registration

Click the icon in the upper right corner, wait a few minutes to enter the registration interface, fill in the user name and email information according to the relevant prompts, and save to enter the BlazeMeter interface. At this point, the user has automatically logged in to the plug-in interface, as shown in figure 1-3.

1.2.2 basic setup Project naming

Enter the name of the test task and export the script as the name after the recording is complete.

Stop recording

Click the button to stop recording.

Start recording

Click

Button to start page recording.

Restore the default value

Click the button to restore the default value.

Click to select the save type JMeter (JMX), Selenium only, JMeter & Selenium combined (YAML).

1.2.4 Save the project

In the option of saving the project, configure the account, workspace and project. Do not fill in according to the default value, as shown in figure 1-7.

1.3 Web recording

Open the recorded web page, click the icon, and start page recording, as shown in figure 1-8.

Before you start recording, enter the project name in the input box, click the start recording button, and you can observe that the following number has been changing, indicating that the interface operation events have been recorded, as shown in figure 1-9.

Click the icon after recording to stop recording; click the icon and select the export script type JMeter, Selenium only, Jmeter & Selenium combined, and export the recording script directly, as shown in figure 1-10.

Note: JMeter needs to register and login before it can be exported for use. Check JMeter (JMX) to generate the Jmeter script and download it, see figure 1-11.

Or click the edit button, select JMeter Script, Selenium a type, enter the editing interface, you can edit the script, selected to edit the content highlighted, see figure 1-11, after editing, click on the upper right corner of the page, select a save type after the browser directly starts to download the script to the local default path.

Open the Jmeter interface, drag the JMX recording script downloaded locally to the Jmeter window, and BlazeMeter automatically populates the global configuration information (Http information header, extract interface environment variables), as shown in figure 1-11.
