Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--
This article will explain in detail how to analyze and troubleshoot instances by using system logs and real-time screenshots of examples. The editor finds it very practical, so I share it for you as a reference. I hope you can get something after reading this article.
Syslog and screenshot
ECS is a virtualized cloud service. You cannot access the display device or take screenshots manually. However, ECS caches the system log of the last time the instance was started, restarted or shut down, and supports taking screenshots of the instance in real time. You can use these features to analyze and troubleshoot instances, such as diagnosing that the operating system is unresponsive, abnormal restart, or unable to connect to the instance.
System log
The system log of CVM ECS is an important part of OPS diagnosis. If you need to diagnose and analyze abnormal faults, you can obtain log information such as ECS instance startup and abnormal failures. The log printed out by the system through the serial port will contain two types of information, one is the log content when the system starts up, and the other is the log content when the system kernel is malfunctioning or abnormal. For more details, please see what is wrong with the Cloud Community blog operating system? Diagnostic logs to help.
