-K does not automatically log in to the remote host.

-l specifies the user name to log in to the remote host.

-L allows you to output 8-bit character data.

-n specifies that the file records relevant information.

-r uses a user interface similar to the rlogin instruction.

-S sets the IP TOS information required for telnet connection.

-x assumes that the host has a feature that supports data encryption, so use it.

-X closes the specified authentication form.
