Shulou(Shulou.com)06/01 Report--
Summary: SuSE12.1 64-bit operating system, MySQL5.7.22 compilation and installation, single instance
Compile installation with boost and without boost
Note: kingtry is my hostname
I. Environmental preparation
Operating system: SuSE version 12.1, 64-bit
Kingtry:~ # uname-aLinux kingtry 3.1.0-1.2-desktop # 1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Nov 3 14:45:45 UTC 2011 (187dde0) x86 "64 x 86" 64 x86 "64 GNU/Linuxkingtry:~ # cat / etc/SuSE-release openSUSE 12.1 (x86" 64) VERSION = 12.1CODENAME = Asparagus
Second, install cmake
Note: the minimum requirement for cmake version is 2.8.9
Kingtry:~ # tar-xf cmake-2.8.12.tar.gzkingtry:~ # cd cmake-2.8.12/kingtry:~/cmake-2.8.12 #. / configurekingtry:~/cmake-2.8.12 # make & & make install
III. Software preparation
Mysql-5.7.22.tar.gz or mysql-boost-5.7.22.tar.gz
Fourth, install boost
Note: it can be decompressed. If the installation uses its own boost version, that is, the mysql-boost-5.7.22.tar.gz version, this step can be skipped
Kingtry:~ # tar-xf boost_1_59_0.tar.gz kingtry:~ # mv boost_1_59_0 boost # can also be migrated to the extracted directory of mysql, which is equivalent to the unzipped version of mysql-boost-5.7.22.tar.gz.
5. Installation process
1. Create groups and users
Kingtry:~ # groupadd mysqlkingtry:~ # useradd-g mysql mysql
2. Create related directories
Kingtry:~ # mkdir-p / data/mysql/ {data,tmp} # create a directory to store data files. There cannot be a space between data and tmp, kingtry:~ # chown-R mysql.mysql / data/mysql
3. Extract the file and modify the name of the decompressed folder
Kingtry:~ # tar-xf mysql-5.7.22.tar.gz
4. Compile and install
Note: the parameter DWITH_BOOST specifies the boost directory. If it is an installation package with boost, the modified value is-DWITH_BOOST=boost.
Kingtry:~ # cd mysql-5.7.22/kingtry:~/mysql-5.7.22 # cmake. -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/root/mysql\-DSYSCONFDIR=/data/mysql\-DMYSQL_DATADIR=/data/mysql/data\-DMYSQL_UNIX_ADDR=/data/mysql/mysql.sock\-DMYSQL_TCP_PORT=3306\-DWITH_BOOST=/root/boost\-DWITH_ARCHIVE_STORAGE_ENGINE=1\-DWITH_BLACKHOLE_STORAGE_ENGINE=1\-DWITH_PARTITION_STORAGE_ENGINE=1 \-DENABLED_LOCAL_INFILE=1\-DDEFAULT_CHARSET=utf8\-DDEFAULT_COLLATION=utf8_general_ci\-DEXTRA_CHARSETS=allkingtry:~/mysql-5.7.22 # make & & make install
VI. Initialize the database
Kingtry:~ # / root/mysql/bin/mysqld-initialize-basedir=/root/mysql-datadir=/data/mysql/data-user=mysql [. Omit several lines.] 2018-08-07T07:59:05.386067Z 1 [Note] A temporary password is generated for root@localhost: Igds&fV (q2c#
Note:
1. After initialization, the password of the root user is automatically generated. See the output of the last line above.
2. Whether the default password is generated and whether the default password is output and saved are different in different installation versions and different installation methods of MySQL.
Create a configuration file / data/mysql/my.cnf
The reference for my.cnf content is as follows:

However, in case you choose this method, then# start replication for the first time (even unsuccessfully, for example# if you mistyped the password in master-password and the slave fails to# connect), the slave will create a master.info file, and any later# change in this file to the variables' values below will be ignored and# overridden by the content of the master.info file, unless you shutdown# the slave server, delete master.info and restart the slaver server.# For that reason You may want to leave the lines below untouched# (commented) and instead use CHANGE MASTER TO (see above) # # required unique id between 2 and 2 ^ 32-and different from the master) # defaults to 2 if master-host is set# but will not function as a slave if omitted#server-id = 2percent # The replication master for this slave-required#master-host = # # The username the slave will use for authentication when connecting# to the master- required#master-user = # # The password the slave will authenticate with when connecting to# the master- required#master-password = # # The port the master is listening on.# optional-defaults to 3306#master-port = # # binary logging-not required for slaves But recommended#log-bin=mysql-bin # Uncomment the following if you are using InnoDB tables#innodb_data_home_dir = / var/lib/mysqlinnodb_data_file_path = ibdata1:10M:autoextend#innodb_log_group_home_dir = / var/lib/mysql# You can set.. _ buffer_pool_size up to 50-80% # of RAM but beware of setting memory usage too highinnodb_buffer_pool_size = 256M#innodb_additional_mem_pool_size = 2M# Set.. _ log_file _ size to 25% of buffer pool size#innodb_log_file_size = 5M#innodb_log_buffer_size = 8M#innodb_flush_log_at_trx_commit = 1#innodb_lock_wait_timeout = 50innodb_buffer_pool_instances = 2innodb_read_io_threads = 8innodb_write_io_threads = 8innodb_purge_threads = 1 slow_query_log = 1long_query_time = 10log-queries-not-using-indexes log-error = / data/mysql/mysql.err expire-logs- Days = 10 [mysqldump] quickmax_allowed_packet = 512Mnet_buffer_length = 16384 [mysql] auto-rehash# Remove the next comment character if you are not familiar with SQL#safe-updates [myisamchk] key_buffer_size = 20Msort_buffer_size = 20Mread_buffer = 2Mwrite_buffer = 2m [mysqlhotcopy] interactive-timeout
8. Configure environment variables
Kingtry:~ # echo 'export PATH=/root/mysql/bin:$PATH' > > / etc/profilekingtry:~ # source / etc/profile
9. Start MySQL service
The current version of kingtry:~ # touch / data/mysql/mysql.err # this file is not created automatically. You need to create kingtry:~ # chown mysql.mysql / data/mysql/mysql.err kingtry:~ # mysqld_safe-- defaults-file=/data/mysql/my.cnf-- user=mysql & manually.
Modification of root password configured after installation
There are two ways to change the root password, either of which is fine:
1. Shell command mode
Kingtry:~ # mysqladmin-u root-p password 'root123' Enter password:
This is modified interactively. Enter the default password generated automatically above, followed by the password you want to change to the password parameter.
2. Mysql command mode
Log in to MySQL server first
Mysql > set password=password ('root123')
The client connects to the MySQL service
Kingtry:~ # mysql-uroot-p
The firewall allows port 3306
Kingtry:~ # vi / etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2
Add 3306 ports to FW_SERVICES_EXT_TCP. If there are other ports, spaces are separated, such as:
FW_SERVICES_EXT_TCP= "21 22 3306"
Restart the firewall:
Kingtry:~ # rcSuSEfirewall2 restart
XIII. Set up remote access
Log in to the MySQL server first, and authorized root users can log in remotely
Mysql > grant all PRIVILEGES on *. * to root@'%' identified by 'root123'; Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec) mysql > flush privileges;Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec) mysql >
Note: it is best for a production environment to allow root remote access only on machines with a specific IP.
