Prepare the Office installer

If you want to uninstall the old version of Office2013 and Skype for Business2016 at the same time of deployment, you need to configure the uninstall option for the previously deployed Office2013 and SFB2016 deployment programs. If you cannot deploy Office365 on a computer that already has SFB2016 installed, you will be prompted to uninstall SFB2016 first!

24. For Office2013, add: Setup.exe / uninstall proplus / config "\\ YouServerName\ DeploySource$\ Uninstall_Office\ Uninstall2013.xml" to the uninstall program

25. For SFB2016, add: setup.exe / uninstall lync / config "\\ YouServerName\ deploysource$\ Uninstall_Office\ Uninstall2016Lync.xml" to the uninstall program

The uninstall2016lync.xml file is as follows:

26. Configure the deployment program, for SFB2016, add the replacement application to the uninstall program, and configure the old version of the program to uninstall, replace, and join in the application content.

27. Add, find the old version of Office deployment program, such as: Office2013

28. Select the new deployment type, and check uninstall.

29. Add SFB2016 to replace and uninstall it as above.

30, update the content, redeploy, you can uninstall the old version of Office2012 and SFB2016 before deploying the new version O365!
