2. Use Vmware to connect the interconnection of switches in GNS3.

Experiment 1:

Use built-in vpc to connect switches for interconnection and interworking

1. Open GNS3 to create the switch, and vpc connects the two vpc to the switch and opens it.

2. We set up the configuration of the device in windows through CRT

3. Double-click the switch to set up the switch, turn off the routing function, then set the ip address of pc1,pc2 separately, and then test whether it is interconnected.

Experiment 2:

Using Vmware to connect the interconnection of switches in GNS3

1, open the virtual machine to use two win10 system machines, and add a virtual network device vmnet2.

2. Customize the connection between the two virtual machines and set vmnet1/vmnet2 respectively. Set the ip addresses of each machine and turn off the firewall to prevent connection failure.

3, for the same switch, we add two host and connect them separately, the routing function of the switch still needs to be turned off, the above two routing interfaces cannot be used, and then we turn on the whole device.

4, this is when we open wireshark and enter icmp to grab the packet to view. We ping the virtual machine 2 on virtual machine 1, and we find the packet information. At this time, the experiment is successful.
