When our Windows system fails and cannot be started, we can use PE for data backup, and we can also use PE for Windows system backup. This article introduces PE use: Windows system backup.

First of all, we turn on the computer, enter the startup option, choose to start from the u disk, as shown below: Select 2 to enter the simplified version

Enter pe desktop, as shown below:

PE tools can be used to format the system, partition and other processing;

Double-click the desktop "Ghost32-> click"ok"to enter the Ghost manual operation interface, as shown below:

We can use manual ghost tools to backup partitions or hard disks (such as: system disk C disk or entire hard disk) First, if we need to back up the entire hard disk, do the following. After entering the ghost interface, click Local-->Disk-->To Image

Select the disk you want to backup, click "ok", as shown below:

Select the backup location and file name of the image file, click "save", as shown below:

Backup starts, as shown below:

You can generate a ".GHO" file, as shown in the figure:

Second, if we only need to backup the system disk, enter the ghost interface and enter the following operations: Click "loccal-->partition-->To Image", as shown below:

Select the disk to be backed up, click "ok", as shown below:

Select the partition to be backed up, as shown below:

Select the storage location and image name of the generated system image file, and click "save" to save it, as shown in the following figure:

Operation complete!!!
