I came across a thing today, which is very tangled. The customer needs to configure 16 private network addresses as public network addresses. He originally has 2 C public network addresses and 6 interface addresses. I originally planned to write a new vlan for the unused public network address, and then write the IP gateway of this vlan on the core switch, but when I originally planned, there were more sub-computer rooms, and I didn't know the management IP of other aggregation layer devices. The consequence of this is that some of them can be used and some of them cannot. Finally, this function is achieved by configuring IP mapping on the RG-WALL 1600m device.

First of all, we need to pay attention to several points: 1. To configure IP mapping on a firewall, you need to first add the public network address you want to map to the IP interface. Consult Ruijie engineers who say that maybe my version is too old and there is no manual input option for mapping. Safety rules where to pay attention to the order, otherwise it will not take effect. Here are my configuration steps.

1. IP https://192.168.100.100:6666 of the login device

two。 Click "Network configuration"-> "Interface IP--" > add, and a new page will appear as follows:

3. Then click Security Policy-> Security rules-- > add

With the public address above, you can select the IP you added on the IP interface, that is, the public network IP you want to convert. To "map the public address to" here, enter the private network IP you want to convert, and click OK.

4. Our new rules are at the bottom in order from top to bottom, so if there are similar rules, our rules will not take effect. We can select the rules and select the move above, just before rule 1.

Well, after this step, OK, according to my test, has been successful!
