SQL > select open_mode from v$database

OPEN_MODE

READ ONLY

SQL > ALTER DATABASE RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE USING CURRENT LOGFILE DISCONNECT

Database altered.

SQL > select open_mode from v$database

OPEN_MODE

READ ONLY WITH APPLY
