Today we will deploy instance and analyze the connectivity of the network.

Launch's new instance "cirros-vm1", the network chooses vxlan100.

The IP assigned to cirros-vm1 is 172.16.100.3.

The cirros-vm1 is schedule to the control node, the corresponding tap device is tap099caa87-cd, and is connected to the bridge brq1762d312-d4.

Continue to launch instance cirros-vm2 in the same way, with an assigned IP of 172.16.100.4.

The cirros-vm2 is schedule to the compute node, the corresponding tap device is tap457cc048-aa, and is connected to the bridge brq1762d312-d4.

Because there is no hdcp service on the compute node, there is no corresponding tap device.

In addition, the name of the bridge is the same as that on the control node, both brq1762d312-d4, indicating the same network.

Cirros-vm1 (172.16.100.3) and cirros-vm2 (172.16.100.4) are on different nodes and are connected through vxlan100. PING is performed below to verify connectivity.

Execute ping 172.16.100.4 in the cirros-vm1 console

As we expected, ping was a success.

For routing and floating ip between multiple vxlan, the implementation is very similar to vlan.
