Install on CentOS 7

The Bazel development team did not provide an official package for Fedora and CentOS, which was maintained by Vincent Batts, an engineer at Redhat.

Download yum source configuration file

Use the wget command to download the yum source configuration file:

The downloaded file is stored in the vbatts-bazel-epel-7.rep file in the current directory, or you can create it manually without wget download. The contents of the file are as follows:

Next, copy the downloaded vbatts-bazel-epel-7.rep file to the yum repository configuration directory / etc/yum.repos.d/:

[root@ecs-d8b6 ~] # mv vbatts-bazel-epel-7.rep / etc/yum.repos.d/ is installed using yum

First, use the yum list bazel command to see if the newly added yum configuration file in the previous step is already in effect:

[root@ecs-d8b6 ~] # yum list bazelLoaded plugins: fastestmirrorLoading mirror speeds from cached hostfile * base: mirror.nus.edu.sg * epel: mirrors.aliyun.com * extras: mirror.nus.edu.sg * updates: mirror.nus.edu.sgAvailable Packagesbazel.x86_64 0.27.0-7.el7 vbatts-bazel

As you can see, there is already a 0.27 version that can be installed.

Use the yum install bazel command to install:

[root@ecs-d8b6 ~] # yum install bazel

During the installation process, you are prompted to install the required dependent packages, and you can complete the installation by following the operation prompts.

After the installation is completed, the bazel is automatically stored in the / usr/bin/ directory:
