First of all, RV-2000 is a common video capture terminal, which requires a lot of remote monitoring. After the video signal from the camera is input into the terminal, RV-2000 converts the signal into a digital image of 25FPS/s by MPEG-4 image compression method, and then its data stream is forwarded to the video monitoring center through the optical fiber network; finally, the computer in the monitoring center decompresses the transmitted data, and then carries out real-time remote monitoring on the screen and sound card.

When an alarm event occurs, the decoder of the alarm will automatically link the corresponding output device, and its special alarm signal will be input to the RV-2000 video terminal and then transmitted to the monitoring center. Of course, after receiving the signal, the video server of the monitoring center will immediately carry out sound warning, video and other related alarm operations.

As for the camera control, protection and other specific operations, the monitoring host sends out control signals. When received, the RV-2000 is protected by a pan-tilt lens controller or a camera that directly controls it. This control signal is transmitted downstream from the upper computer.

So how does a computer set up as a video surveillance station? As long as compression software decompression technology is adopted and corresponding software or IE Web function is added to the relevant computer terminal, the function of remote monitoring can be realized. TCP/IP and network multicast are common methods in remote monitoring communication, because they can make full use of network transmission performance and bandwidth, and effectively avoid network congestion.

How to use remote monitoring?

Requirements: monitoring host (computer with card) can access the Internet.

Apply for dynamic domain names and set ports.

(ADSL Every time you dial up to surf the Internet, you will automatically assign a temporary public IP. The IP is not fixed, which brings some trouble to remote viewing. At this point, users can apply for dynamic domain names, and then download the client software for dynamic domain names and run them. There are many websites that offer free dynamic domain names, such as www.3322.org, www.meibu.com, www.vicp.net, etc. With dynamic domain names, users don't have to remember or ask for IP addresses that change frequently when viewing remotely. If the dynamic domain name you requested is myname.3322.org, you can access the DVR by typing http://myname.3322.org in IE. First, to connect the DVR to the network, you need to turn on ADSL and a router that supports DDNS.

ADSL can be used normally after booting, remember the username and password.

2. Install the router, connect the DVR to the PC, and set the router to "Auto Connect." Check whether the Internet is working properly through the computer. Ready, enter the remote monitoring settings interface of the hard disk recorder: i.e. remote monitoring settings of the hard disk recorder:

(1)Check whether the hard disk recorder network connection is normal. Connect the cable to the hard disk recorder and turn on the power. According to the instructions, enter the hard disk recorder setting interface, enter "network settings": select "type""static IP": move the cursor key to the position to be filled or modified, and change the static IP to "192 ." 168 . 1 . 110"Confirm the change from gateway to"192 . 168 . 1 . 1"Acknowledged.

(2)Check again whether the hard disk recorder can be accessed in the local area network and whether browsing is normal. First open IE browsing interface: select the tool "Internet Options" and enter "192.168.1.110" in the address bar of IE to enter, wait a moment. The computer will prompt you to download and install the plug-in, click "Install"(if you have installed firewall and other shielding software, please close it temporarily, and then open it after installing the plug-in); after installing the plug-in, the connection dialog box will pop up. Select default username and password, click "OK" directly to see the monitoring screen!

(3)On the remote monitoring interface of the router, we can use the computer to surf the Internet, and we can see the monitoring screen in the local area network, which proves that our network connection is normal. Now you can enter the remote monitoring settings of the router: enter "192.168.1.1" in the IE address bar, enter the router, click "forwarding rules", save: then click "DMZ host", fill in the IP address as "192.168.1.110", check the "enable" at the back, save. Click "Dynamic DNS", fill in the dynamic domain name, username and password of the application, check "Enable DDNS", click "Save", and then click "Login".
