Workarounds for not displaying the phpmyadmin management home page:

Step 1: open the httpd.conf file in the conf folder under the Apache installation directory and set the DocumentRoot and Directory values to "E:/xampp/htdocs" (my XAMPP is installed on disk E).

Step 2: open the XAMPP control interface and click the [start] button to open Apache and MySQL services.

Step 3: when the message shown in the figure appears, the Apache and MySQL services have been started successfully. If the startup is not successful, ports such as 80 may be occupied. Modify the port and start it.

Step 4: open a browser, type http://localhost/xampp/index.php in the address bar, and the welcome page of XAMPP as shown in the figure appears (note: only the directory of Apache can access this page). Click the phpMyAdmin option in the menu bar on the left side of the page.

Step 5: in this way, we go to the home page of phpMyAdmin management, and we can perform MySQL operations.

Note: the first time you enter, the phpMyAdmin server displays 127.0.0.1, that is, you are connecting to the local MySQL database.
