One of the most anticipated features of Apple's macOS Monterey and iPadOS 15 is Universal Control (Universal Control), which enables users to control using a single Mac across multiple iPad and Mac. The feature was unveiled on WWDC in June, but has not yet been officially unveiled in any developer preview of macOS Monterey or iPadOS 15.

However, in the latest macOS Monterey Beta 5 beta released on August 13, general control can be turned on manually. Following the tutorials given in GitHub, you need to use sudo administrator commands to create an Ensemble.plist (permissions may need to be changed to 777, or restart), and then you can use generic controls.

However, it is not recommended that you try on the main computer, there may be problems. According to foreign media MacRumors tests, the current state of the feature is very smooth, but only between Mac devices, because iPadOS does not support it, and the operation of dragging and dropping files cannot be used.

You can add a monitor between the two Mac via system preferences-> Monitor-> and then select the Mac you want to control in the "Connect Mouse and Keyboard" option.
