Samsung is still the leader in the mobile market. Huawei is not far behind, but we don't think Chinese OEMs will succeed any time soon. In particular, Huawei is no longer allowed to use Android, which will take a while. As for Samsung, it will continue to dominate because it will appear not only on high-end flagship smartphones, but also on excellent mid-range phones and new foldable phones. These devices are always expected because many people are interested in cameras.

Samsung Galaxy S phones are the real winners every year. They compete with Huawei p-series. Depending on what you are looking for in your camera phone, consider using Huawei or Samsung. The latter has occupied a long time in the image sensor and camera business. It also provides an imaging sensor.

The South Korean technology giant is in the business of mobile image sensors. The most eye-catching of these products is the ISOCELL series. We have introduced a lot of ISOCELL sensors here. We still remember the Samsung ISOCELL CMOS sensor technology introduced six years ago and the 16MP CMOS image sensor based on 1.0m pixels. Since then, different models have been released, including 3-layer ISOCELL Fast 2L3 image sensor, ultra-miniature ISOCELL image sensor, ISOCELL Plus camera sensor for Galaxy Note 9, and ISOCELL Bright HMX 108MP image sensor.

There is also a Samsung 64Mp ISOCELL image sensor for high-resolution cameras. Of course, we won't forget the customized 108MP image sensor. Samsung's next step may be to compete with human eyes. It's more like an idea now, but Samsung will never know. You will find that everyone has a smartphone camera, and it is normal to take pictures and record videos with one camera.

You can capture it with the naked eye with your camera or cell phone for a while. Most people now use smartphones, so it's natural for these gadgets to have powerful imaging capabilities.

The image sensor may match what our eyes see. 500MP sensors may be available in the future. It may not really be 500 million pixels, but it can match the resolution. Currently, mobile phones offer 12Mp resolution, while DSLR cameras achieve 40Mp resolution.

By putting as many pixels together as possible, the sensor can reach 108 megapixels. This can be done, but a large image sensor can take over the mobile device. The pixels must be reduced to smaller pixels in order to be compact.

Samsung knows a lot about the image sensor business. In the past two years, the company has been able to offer different sensors ranging from 64Mp sensors to 108Mp variants, so it can better navigate. Samsung implemented Nonacell technology on the latter. It should be noted that it can increase the "amount of light that pixels can absorb". This is said to be better than the 22-array Tetra battery technology.

The next goal is a series of sensors that are beyond our range of perception. This can be an image sensor for UV sensing, which can be used to diagnose diseases or to be further used in the medical industry. Infrared image sensors are also possible and can be used in other industries, such as agriculture. Samsung's image sensors are only used in mobile phone cameras, but maybe one day they can be used in other fields and industries. They can be used in drones, vehicles and other Internet of things devices.
