In some cases, we have to change the service name of sybase. This document takes windows as an example to show the steps to change the name of sybase service. Other platforms are relatively simple. The detailed steps are as follows:

First, the information of the database before changing the service name is as follows:

Change the information of the database

1 change the service name of sql.ini to crm

2 change the sybase configuration file test.cfg to crm.cfg

3 change the RUN_test.bat and RUN_test_bs.bat filename test of sybase to crm and the test service name in RUN* file to crm

4 change the information of the registry, the location of the registry is as follows

5 change the system table can be changed

6 change the information in the system table sysservers as follows:

7 end the process of sybase's main service and backup service and restart the sybase service

Third, test whether the sybase service name change is valid by backing up the master library
