"

Google was quick to point out Journeys's built-in privacy protection. You will be able to delete a single project or an entire active cluster, and the organization occurs only on your device-if you log in to your Google account, your overall browsing history will still be synchronized unless you also turn it off. If you don't want to see the journey at all, Chrome can also choose to close the journey. The new feature seems to be related to Google's work on Topics API, which analyzes your browser history to help the site create targeted ads, but Google does not confirm whether there is a connection in its announcement.

The Journeys feature is being available on Chrome desktops on all platforms in English, German, Spanish, French, language, Dutch, Portuguese, and Turkish. Google has also introduced some other features that are already available in testing, such as additional Chrome operations (such as "share this tag" and "view your Chrome history") and Material You widgets on Android.
