Xiaomi has confirmed that it will abandon the "Mi" brand and adopt a new and simpler naming scheme. It is speculated that the upcoming Xiaomi 12 will be equipped with three 50MP sensors, and the 108MP cameras used by Xiaomi 11 and Mix 4 flagship products over the past three years will be abandoned.

According to the digital chat station, Xiaomi 12 will be equipped with a 50MP master sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP telephoto camera. We've heard of larger 200MP sensors in the past, but this is probably just a rumor or leaked test unit. Some new rumors suggest that the upcoming 200MP sensor may be left to a better quality Xiaomi 12 Ultra, so if that's true, we may hear the news soon.

Telefocus can also provide 5x periscope zoom. There are also rumors that the company is developing a 10x periscope zoom. We also know that 5x lenses can definitely provide clear, smooth, high-resolution zoom quality in the range of 5x to 10x, although larger images may not be as clear as the 5x version.

Very few high-resolution sensors are used in periscope cameras. Recently, ZTE announced that the Axon 30 Ultra is equipped with three-camera 64MP camera. However, the periscope only has 8MP. Xiaomi 11 Ultra has 48MP, 50MP main sensor and 48MP ultra-wide sensor.
