Before May Day, I have been busy with the project, doing the mixed deployment of Exchange 2013 and office 365. now record the process of the mixed deployment.

First of all, explain the architecture:

The AAD Connect server is responsible for synchronizing users of the local AD to the Azure AD

ADFS server deployment provides single sign-on capabilities for clusters

The ADFS proxy server is placed in the DMZ area to proxy ADFS to prevent ADFS from directly leaking in the public network, and two clusters are also deployed.

We first add the domain name office 365. since we are using office 365 of Century Interconnection, log in to the "portal.partner.microsoftonline.cn" URL and enter the password of the O365 administrator account.

After logging in, click "Administrator" on the home page to go to the admin center interface and start our operation.

Select "install"-"Domain"

Click "add Domain"

Enter our domain name, that is, our email domain name, the next step

Here, add the following TXT record to our public network DNS. After the addition is completed, verify

Select "I will manage my own DNS records" and next

Select online service, check "Exchange", and next step

Add the following TXT record to our public network DNS, because here I do not want autodiscover and MX to record changes (mail flow), so only add msoid record, after adding, verify

Now that we have completed the steps of adding domains, we will install and configure AAD Connect in the next article.
