One of Apple's main strategies in recent years has been to increase iPad productivity. To this end, it launched a series of iPad Pro products and equipped the iPad Pro with desktop-level M1 chips. The company also designed the ​​ iPadOS system specifically for iPad.

However, the productivity experience of iPadOS is still not comparable to that of traditional desktop platforms. The fact that the application does not support the window mechanism is one of the reasons. Now the new theory is that Apple may bring about a change in this respect. It is reported that Apple is developing an intelligent system for iPadOS. By default, the application continues to open full screen, but automatically zooms out (such as windowing) when it detects that iPad is connected to the keyboard and trackpad. Internally, it is called Apple Mixer.

We don't know if it will be included in iPadOS 16. It should be unique to M1 iPad. So far, Apple has adapted M1 iPad Pro and iPad Air 5. It is not clear whether an open app will detect an iPad connection to the keyboard and make changes. If the application can remember the last location of the user's action, this may be convenient for 12.9-inch iPad Pro users. However, for the 8.3-inch iPad mini, the situation is different.

Apple will use Chinese OLED display for ​​

It is reported that Apple will make more use of BOE monitors this year. According to the report, BOE will build a new 8.6G (2250x2600mm) OLED panel production line at the Sichuan B16 factory. Apple's support for BOE display has significantly improved the company's performance. It is reported that OLED sales will soar by 70 per cent this year.

Before that, however, Samsung and LG plan to supply Apple's iPad and MacBook with sixth-generation OLED products. Perhaps to increase its own advantages, BOE is testing double-layer series OLED technology. This is to improve screen brightness and display life, which seems to be more important for large-screen devices.
